Phase One

/ Finding our Footing

The Vision

Arcadia Hills came to me in the early stages of development with a clear heart behind the project and a big vision for what it could become. They weren’t looking for a rustic cabin aesthetic or a trendy short-term rental brand. They wanted something modern and organic. Elevated, yet grounded. Luxurious, but welcoming.

Our Early Goals Were:

  1. Communicate attainable luxury without exclusivity

  2. Appeal to families, couples, and friend groups within a Midwest radius

  3. Reflect their core values: transformation, harmony with nature, and personalized service

  4. Build a brand that felt immersive, not transactional


Phase Two

/ Crafting the Brand Foundation

Piecing it Together

We began with deep brand strategy - clarifying their positioning, refining their mission and UVP, and articulating the emotional experience they wanted guests to have. Together, we defined Arcadia Hills as: A serene, transformative getaway where raw natural beauty and refined comfort coexist seamlessly.


Every visual & verbal decision stemmed from three core pillars:

01. A Transformative Atmosphere:

The brand needed to feel like a deep breath - spacious, calming, and intentional.

02. Harmonizing Nature & Refined Comfort:

We balanced organic textures and grounded tones with elevated typography and structured layouts.

03. Personalized Service Rooted in Pride:

As a family-operated business, warmth and care had to be felt in every touchpoint.


Final Project Phase

Final Phase

The website needed to do more than inform, it needed to immerse. So, I structured the site to: Guide visitors through an emotional journey while presenting booking details, Emphasize experience as well as amenities, and Highlight the harmony between nature and architecture.

The final result is a digital experience that mirrors an on-site stay: calm, intuitive, elevated, and welcoming.
